Tuition Fees and Other Fees (Academic Year 2010)

Tuition Fees, Admission Fee, Entrance Examination Fee

The university's tuition fees, admission fee and entrance examination fee are as follows.
These amounts are subject to change in the future.

Exemption from Tuition Fees

There is a system at the University of Toyama whereby full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students (excluding government sponsored foreign students) with an excellent academic record who are having financial difficulty in paying their tuition fees may be granted an exemption from either the entire sum or half of their tuition fees.
For details, please ask the Student Support Team, Student Support Group, Student and Academic Affairs Division (Gofuku Campus), the Student Support Team, Medical and Pharmaceutical Academic Affairs Group (Sugitani Campus) or the  Art and Design Affairs Group (Takaoka Campus).

Application procedures and other details are posted in each faculty.  Please submit the application form within the prescribed time limit.  (Information is also available on the website.)

Other Financial Supports

International Students Support Project Fund
A loan system to support overseas students in their living expenses in the case of a sudden change in the financial circumstances of the household

Loan limit: within 50,000 yen
Repayment deadline within one year from the date of receiving the loan
